What is Bitcoin? Is bitcoin Thailand future money? Official Bitcoin portal in Thailand
Hello , my fellow readers!
Nowadays, so many of us wonder about cryptocurrencies. Somebody may know, but somebody may not. In this blog, I'm going to explain as much as I understood about Invincible currency. Yeah! I meant that Cryptocurrency.
What is Cryptocurrency? Is it going to be our future money?
Cryptocurrency is the same as our money, but we can't see it or feel it. What? I know how confused you are. Cryptocurrency is a digital currency like money in your bank, but it can be used online only. Transactions are made with no middlemen – meaning, no banks!
Cryptocurrency can be used to book hotels on Expedia, shop for furniture on Overstock, and buy Xbox games. But much of the hype is about getting rich by trading it.
I'm not sure how long it will take, but surely it will replace the paper money in the future.
There are so many cryptocurrencies available on the internet, but some of them were most popular, such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, Ripple, etc.
What is Bitcoin?
Bitcoin is a new currency that was created in 2009 by an unknown person using the alias Satoshi Nakamoto. Bitcoin, often described as a cryptocurrency, a virtual currency or a digital currency - is a type of money that is completely virtual.
It's like an online version of cash. You can use it to buy products and services, but not many shops accept Bitcoin yet and some countries have banned it altogether.
However, some companies are beginning to buy into its growing influence.
Bitcoins can be used to buy merchandise anonymously. In addition, international payments are easy and cheap because bitcoins are not tied to any country or subject to regulation.
Small businesses may like them because there are no credit card fees. Some people buy bitcoins as an investment, hoping that they'll go up in value.
In October last year, for example, the online payment service, PayPal, announced that it would be allowing its customers to buy and sell Bitcoin.
The physical Bitcoins you see in photos are a novelty. They would be worthless without the private codes printed inside them.
How does Bitcoin work?
Each Bitcoin is basically a computer file that is stored in a 'digital wallet' app on a smartphone or computer.
People can send Bitcoins (or part of one) to your digital wallet, and you can send Bitcoins to other people.
Every single transaction is recorded in a public list called the blockchain.
This makes it possible to trace the history of Bitcoins to stop people from spending coins they do not own, making copies, or undoing transactions.
However, bitcoin has come to the public in Thailand from the BITKUB organization, which a 30-year old guy founded. His company was famous because of its easy interface and its open credibility.
